Two years at catering college...£2,482.

Locally sourced ingredients...£2.38.

Serving up something that looks like sick on a plate...priceless.

Eat up now, it's specially formulated to help you get well soon. Failing that, it will get you to vacate your bed as soon as is humanly possible.

Why is it only the NHS and school dinner ladies that think an ice cream scoop is a suitable implement for serving mashed potato.

Mass-output food servers somehow believe that the more geometrically accurate or precise the serving, the better. A perfect assembly line would be one where every serving of everything would be one perfectly round ice cream scoop. That applies not only to mashed potatoes but meatloaf as well.
